Started with a To-Do list last night. First we put in an order to Safeway. It will arrive Sunday morning because we waited too long to get it here today, but we're not in danger of starving in the meantime. Having Safeway deliver most of our groceries totally rocks -- it saves hunting for a parking place on the little lot here in the middle of the city, it saves negotiating the aisles in a very crowded store, and it also saves having to drag heavy things like boxes of cat litter up the stairs. We go to the Hippie Dippie Grocery (Rainbow Grocery, under the Bay Bridge, see some other post a long time ago) for produce and real whole wheat bread and and herbs, and we'll be doing that later, as well as going to Golden Gate for a walk.
Talked to some of my kids. Almost caught up on email. Composted the dead things that have been lurking in the fridge. Working on the Ornaments of the Year, ordered stuff for them. Paying bills. David's making lunch. Yarrow is sleeping on his back with all his paws in the air.
It's all good.
Here's Mari out in Denver. We were at the zoo that day and she was standing in front of the gorilla exhibit. The gorilla had rushed the glass right in front of her and I think she looks remarkably composed. :o)

And here are all six of the California Munchkins: Dylan, Conor and Lyndsay in the back, and Sean, Aiden and Caitie in the front.

Beautiful children. Sounds like a wonderfully normal Saturday.
Safeway -- wow, I don't think we have any more of those in Utah. Do we?
